The UL Lafayette Opera Theater presented the two act comic opera “Too Many Sopranos” in Burke Hall November 5-7. The charming piece was written by Edwin Penhorwood.
The show was a huge success and the audience rolled with laughter as four Divas tried to get into the Heavenly Choir and were asked to audition. The divas were told they must go to Hell to do a selfless act to bring back some tenors and basses to help fill out the choir so there is a place for all 4 of them. The production was directed by Shawn Roy.
